| I am sick and tired of the Christian "anti-Christmas" rant. It is the same one every year: "they" are trying to take the Christ out of christmas. Today i will give you a roadmap to my rant: first i will probably state some of the christian antics i have heard over the years in various christmas sermons by various pastors around the us, then i will probably talk about how my life sucks comparably to those in africa dieing of aids and hopefully i will not have to point out my sarcasmn along the way. The biggest arugment for the anit "anti-Christmas" followers is the "evil" athesists are ruining christmas for everyone. This is true, it's been true ever since probably the first christmas, after all didn't King Nero or whatshis- face want to kill baby Jesus. Probably the most radical anti-christmas guy ever. Since then christmas has been plagued by scrooges and a minority of people who are offended by Jesus and the Nativity because they don't believe it. I don't get offended when i see a Budah statue in a garden or on a mantel piece, nor do i feel the slight-est remorse of getting left out of all the fun and crazy parties of Rammadan. But that's just me, people have the right to get offended. Whether its being called "elf ears" by a very rude grotesque little viper on my first grade school polution bus or feeling like others beliefs are focibily pushed upon us at one specific time of the year when it brings up painful feelings of when you were only given a pair of perrywinkle blue socks-we all sometimes feel like we are personally attacked. When the anti-christmas-ers try to get public schools to quit reading their first graders the story of the nativity or the "Night Before Christmas" christians feel personally attacked. And everyyear it gets "worse and worse". Obviously they haven't seen Miracle on 34th Street. whether its complaining about "Happy HOlidays" (aka, I'd like to acknowledge all the various forms of celebration this month from Channukkah to Rammadan to Kwanza to New Years) or X-mas(I'm sorry that i have studied greek and know that X can be an abbreviation for the word Christ-Xristos) to Jingle Bell Rock(Is it so wrong to rock it on christmas). Because I said I would My life sucks this christmas cuz all i got were clothes when i specifically asked for a blackberry phone and a Paul Mitchell Ceramic Deluxe straightener and a pony.

| TO MY LOVERLY CAST: we did so ahmazing. Those three nights were so energized. We worked all together to create this and make it amazing, and that's exactly what we did. Our cast was perfect, well no not really, but we pulled it off perfect i should say and we gave this show life and emotion and energy, we all felt it. I felt it, thank you for sticking with it, it was all together a tough journey, a lot of drops, a lot of heartache, a lot of time, a lot of effort..... And we deserved those standing ovations, even before curtain call. we pretty much are a big deal. And forensics: thats the way to do it! 1st place in sweeps, second tourny, lets keep er going. yee haw | | |
